Melody Club Meets Tonight
| All members of the Melody club
are urged to be presnt tonight at
7:30 for the business meeting and
choral practice.
Woman's Club Announce* Project
The Woman's club has taken as
their project for the ensuing year
the beautifying of Academy Street
school auditorium.
A beautiful curtain has been pur
chased for the stage and the walls
are being redecorated by the paint
ers. It is the plan of the club to
sponsor other decorations for the
auditorium. It is to be hoped that,
all members will be ready and
as each member has been asked
willing to cooperate in this work,'
to donate $1.00 in raising this mon
ey for the curtain. Any donations
from those who have attended this
schol or those who are interested,
will be greatly appreciated.
The regular monthly program
scheduled to be held in the audi
torium by some of the students and
i directed by their teachers who are
members of the club, has been
postponed to a future date because
the redecorating work is underway.
Parents are cordially invited to
attend this meeting and program
i to be announced later.
Attend Missionary Meet
Rev. and Mrs. John Holland and
Mrs. Marcelle Barker attended the
state missionary meeting held in
Maple Street Methodis church,
in Columbia, April 11. Rev. and
Mrs. J. R. Stuaffacher, returned
missionaries from Africa, who are
visiting the churches, were guest
speakers for the day.
