Local Store Robbers
Caught In Georgia
Now In County Jail

Last week several local business
places were entered by robbers and
in their haul they Stole a pistol and
$4*4.00 in cash. They entered Tim
merman Motor Company, Clinton
Music Shop, T. E. Jones & Sons, and
C. W. Cooper Motor company. They
were unsuccessful in their attempt to
gain entrance to the A&P store
Later they stole the automdbile of
Sam Hairston at Lydia Mills and
headed for Georgia. They complete
ly wrecked the car at Wrightsville,
Ga., where they were apprehended
and after establishing their residence
as Clinton, officers ontified the local
police department and officers went
to Wrightsville and brought them
back later to be lodged in the county
jail. The three are apparently 14 or
15 years of age officers state, and
their names were given by Sheriff
Wier as Ralph Dean Howard, 14,
William Lewis Baker, 15, Frederick
Wilson Price, all of Clinton.
