Woman’s Club Meets
The Lydia Woman’s club held its
January meeting last Thursday eve
ning at the community center with
eighteen members attending.
The meeting was opened by Mrs.
David Word, retiring president, who
turned the meeting over to Mrs. E. C.
Burdette, the new president. Mrs. E.
E. Finley was recognized and wel
comed into the club as a new 1 mem
ber.
The treasurer’s report was given by
Mrs. H. S. Smi^i and the devotional

Program at School Saturday Night
A program by the Peach Center
Playboys will be sponsored by the
Youth Fellowship of the Methodist
church Saturday evening at 8 o’clock
at Providence school. Admissioh
will be 50c for adults and 15c for
children.
