at seven o’clock. The Scripture for

Intermediate Girls Party
The Intermediate Girls Sunday
School class had a dinner-party at
the home of Miss Dot Carr Sunday
afternoon at 5 o’clock. The seasonal
decorations were used throughout the
rooms. The guests were invited into
the dining room where a colorful
“Christmas-Cloth’’ adorned the ta
ble. The centerpiece was a lovely ar
rangement of cedar, red berries and
snow balls, with candles completing
the setting. Covers were laid for
eight and a salad and sweet course
served.
Mrs. Mary Fuller P
The community extends to the
family of Mrs. Mary Fuller, deepest
sympathy in her passing. Mrs. Ful
ler, 71, died Thursday night at her
home on Moultrie street. Funeral ser
vices were held Saturday afternoon
at the Joanna Baptist church with
Rev. James Mitchell and Rev. Joe
Giles officiating. Interment follow
ed in Beavendam Baptist church cem
etery near MountviUe.
Youth Fellowship Party
The Youth Fellowship of the Bap
tist church enjoyed a Progressive
party on New Years Eve, following
the regular evening worship hour.
Immediately following the chuirh
service the group of 30 and their
leaders went to the home of Mrs. D.
M. Carr where interesting games
were enjoyed. Later cakes and cof
fee were served. The group then
went to the home of the F. L. Phil-
