Training Union
Rally Sunday At
Poplar Springs Church
The fifth Sunday Training Union
rally of the Laurens Baptist associa
tion, will meet with the Poplar
Springs church near Ware Shoals,
Sunday arftennoon December 31st at
2:30 o’clock.
Nine banners will be awarded to
the churches having the highest ef
ficiency rating.
Rev. J. W. Spillers, of this city,
associational Training Union director
urges all churches to send in their
quarterly report and to be represent
ed at the rally.
The executive committee has ar
ranged the following program:
Song Service.
Devotion.
Recognition of churches.
Hymn by mixed choir composed
of all the churches.
Talk on young people’s work by
Mrs. G. S. Cothran.
Special music by Laurens Second

though it was reported here that
