After a weeding trip, during which
the couple visited Mr. Martin’s par
ents, the bride has returned here and
the bridegroom has reported for Ko
rean duty with the 23rd Infantry.

Thursday afternoon Mrs. John W.
Finney, Jr., entertained members of
her bridge club at her home on Mus-
grove street.
Two tables were arranged for the
games and a number of progressions
were enjoyed during the afternoon.
High and second score awards went
to Miss Dot Taylor, a club visitor,
and Mrs. Arnold M. Cannon. When
cards were laid aside the hostess
served a salad, assorted dainties and

Rehearsal Party
At 'Capers Acres'
After the rehearsal on Monday
evening for the Wysor-Jordan wed
ding the bridal party and out-of-
town visitors here for the rites were
entertained by Mr. and Mrs. George
Brockenbrough at their home “Ca
pers Acres” in Kinards.
Throughout the rooms where the
guests were received, yellow chry
santhemums and gladioli were artis-
tibally arrayed. The buffet table in
the dining room was adorned with
yellow roses and lighted tapers in
the same shade.

bride’s mother, Mrs. Robert E. Wy
sor, Jr., who poured coffee and Mrs.
William B. Ellis of Greenville.
