The Musgrove Home Demonstra
tion club met at the school house on
September 6 at 3 o’clock with the
president presiding.
Mrs. W. R. Anderson gave the de
votional, a part of the 14th chapter
of Mark, and made a few remarks
on Prayer. She then led in prayer.
The roll was called and minutes
read by the secretary. ,
The same officers were re-elect
ed for the coming year. Mrs. John
ny Johnson was elected local leader
to take the place of Mrs. W. R. And
erson, resigned.
The following announcements
were made during the business ses
sion: Fall county council to meet
on October 7 in the Oak Grove com
munity at Rocky Springs church.
The district council meets at Winns-
boro Sept. 30. The club year has j
been changed to run from December !
1 to December 1 of the next year.
There was a discussion of prem- ■
iums and prizes to be given at the,
Laurens county fair. The club de- !
cided to have a booth at the fair, also
to help serve dinner and supper one'
day during the event.
Refreshments were served by the
hostesses. Mrs. Larry DeShields, and
Miss Blanche Cox.
Effective the week beginning September 18, THE
CASINO will make four changes a week in its program
to give you a better variety. Programs will be on Mon-
day-Tuesday, Wednesday one day, Thursday-Friday, and
one day Saturday.
