The bride’s only attendant was
her sister, Mrs. Milton Herring. She
wore blue organdy with fitted bodice,
full skirt and matching mitts. She
carried a bouquet of pink roses and
pink asters showered with pink rib
bons.
The bride, given in marriage by
her brother, Milton J. Hodges, wore
a white embroidered organdy with
fitted bodice and full skirt, and had
matching mitts. Her fingertip veil
of net was fastened to a tiara of net
and tuberoses. She carried a bou-1 £
quet of white asters and tuberoses,;
centered with a white orchid and
showered with white ribbon.
Following the ceremony, a recep
tion was given at the home of the
bride’s sister, Mrs. Royce Thomp
son.
Mr. and Mrs. Copeland left for a
wedding trip. For traveling the bride
wore a navy blue dress with white
accessories and the orchid from her
bouquet.
Mrs. Copeland is th youngest
daughter of Mrs. Milton J. Hodges
and the late Mr. Hodges. She is
a graduate of the Abbeville high
school and a business college in
Greenwood.
The bridegroom is the youngest
