Mrs. John W. Little
Loses Her Mother
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Curlee, 86,
died suddenly Sunday night at her
home in Winnsboro after a critical
two months illness.
Funeral services were conducted
from the First Methodist church of
that city on Wednesday afternoon
by the pastor, Rev. George K. Way.
Interment followed in the church
cemetery.
Mrs. Curlee was the mother of
Mrs. John W. Little (Irene Curlee)
of this city. In addition to Mrs. Lit
tle, she is survived by five other
daughters, one son, 13 grandchildren,
eight great-grandchildren and one
sister.

Rites Held For
Little Boy
William Joe Nabors, 9-months-old
|son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Herman Na-
j bors, died at noon Monday at the
Blalock clinic after a two weeks’ ill
ness.
The funeral services were held
Tuesday afternoon from the home on
Musgrove streef conducted by the
Rev. J. H. Darr of the First Baptist
church. Interment followed in Rose-
mont cemetery.
Besides his parents the little boy
is survived by his paternal grand
mother, Mrs. Jobe Nabors, and his
maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.
Durwood Murdock of this ,city.
Young Girl Passes
At Home Here
■ Frances Catherine Brown, 14,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norvie
Brown, died Saturday morning at
her home on Gary street after a sev
eral months illness.
In addition to,her parents, she is
survived by four brothers, Jimmy,
Norvie, Jr., Hampton and William
Brown and three sisters, Wilma,
Susie and Pauline Brown, all of this
city.
Funeral services were held Sun
day afternoon at the home, conduct
ed by the Rev. R. D. Gregg. Inter
