To Be Organized
^ The Recreation commission of the
city and interested parents and
geachers are planning to organize a
youth center at the high school build
ing two nights a week. Teen-agers
interested in the project are asked
t to meet in the band room at the
high school building tonight (June
8) at 8 o’clock.

ond anniversary tonight (Thursday)
with an open meeting in the Green
wood high school auditorium at 8
o’clock. One of the most outstanding

With the permission of our friends and cus
tomers and the general public, the CENTER
SERVICE STATION will close all day on Sun
days beginning Sunday, June 25.
We, the personnel and management of the
CENTER SERVICE STATION, ask this permis
sion in order to permit us to attend Sunday
School,and Church and to enjoy the fellowship
of our families on this traditional day of rest.
Our station will continue to attempt to meet
your needs and requirements on week days, of
fering a complete line of Texaco Products, Fire
stone and U. S. Royal Tires and nationally ad
vertised accessories.

home from the Veterans hospital in
Augusta, Ga. where he has been a
patient the past several months.
