Lokey of Gaffney, Mr. and Mrs, Paul Dean and daughters of Spartanburg, Mrs. Nora Hall of Ware Shoals and Mrs. Lawrence Davis spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. A L. Lokey. George McGinnis is spending the week with Rev in Columbia. Holtzclaw and daughter of Greer, visited Mrs. Ada Center during the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Campbell of Lyman, spent Sunday with relatives here. Mrs. Jesse Harmon and children of Johnston, spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Cannon. their grandmother, Mrs. E. T. Thorn ton, in Enoree Wednesday. I Mr. Snelgrove Resigns Friends of S. B. Snelgrove are sorry to know he has resigned his po sition as cloth room overseer at the Clinton Mills due to ill health after fifteen and a half years of service. The members of his department presented his a piece of luggage. Mr. and Mrs. Snelgrove will move to their home near Saluda. He was suc ceeded by E. M. Sumner of Union. , ♦ ' ■ W. A. Dunaway Honored The immediate families of W. A. Dunaway, Sr., gathered at the home Latta high school. However, the regular services will be held with W. R. Thomas in charge. Vacation Bible School Bailey Memorial church will con duct a daily vacation Bible school commencing Tuesday, May 30, and closing Sunday evening, June 11, with the graduating exercises. Final preparations were made at a faculty meeting Wednesday evening at the close of prayer meeting. The girls of the society rendered an enjoyable pro gram which was appreciated by Rev, Anderson who is unable to attend church because of failing health.
