Store “The Home of Better Values’ Clinton, S. C. Girls Enjoy Party Group No. 2, with Mrs. Ethel Cauble, advisor, entertained with a Valentine party Monday night at the community center. In the game of | Musical Stoop the prize was won by Margaret Mason and Sherry Smith as partners. The poisoned orange was won by Inez Dalton. Valentines were distributed from a decorated red and white box. A salad course with cold drink^ was served by Mrs. Cauble, Margaret Mason and Loretta Coker* Donald Quinn Passes Donald Quinn, 17, son of Mrs. Myrtle Shumate Patterson, died at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Shumate, near Clin ton early Saturday morning. He was a native of Laurens county where he spent his entire life. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Patterson, and his step-father, J. B. Patterson; two half-sisters, and one 1 half-brother, Carol, Vickie, and La mar Patterson, all of near Clinton, and his maternal prandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Shumate, of near Clinton. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Lydia Baptist church, conducted by the Rev. R. D. Gregg. Interment followed in Rosemont cemetery. W’onuut’s Club To Meet The Lydia Woman’s club will meet Thursday (tonight) at the commun ity center. The occasion will be a Valentine social, with a number of invited guests attending.
