Club To Meet Today
The Woman’s club will meet
Thursday (today) at 7:30 p.m. in the
community center. Mrs. B. F. Win-
gard will be the speaker, and will
give a demonstration on fall flower
arrangements. All who have yard
flowers are asked to bring some to
the meeting.
All members and other interested
ladies are invited to be present.

Club Meets Thursday
The Kindergarten Mothers club
will meet Thursday morning at 11:30
at the Kindergarten rooms. All who
are interested are invited.
Birthday Party for Little Girl
Mrs. Bill McLendon was hostess
Monday morning to the Kindergarten
children honoring the fifth birthday j
of her little daughter. Sue.
Decorative cloths covered the
tables and an arrangement of dahlias
centered the tables. Favors of candy
bags suggestive of Hallowe’en were
at each plate.
Games were played, led by Mrs.
Rose Satterfield, Mrs. Gladys Allen
and Mrs. Carl Johnson. After sing
ing “Happy Birthday,” Mrs. McLen- [
don served ice cream and cake to
the forty invited children.
Sue received many lovely gifts.
