Col. and Mrs. Robert Wysor and family will leave today for Moultrie, Ga., to attend a number of pre-nup tial parties honoring Miss Gloria Ow ens and their son, Robert Wysor, III, who will be married Saturday. Miss Louise Tribble left this week to resume her studies at Erskine col lege, Due West. Mr. and Mrs. George Corley are occupying a residence at 171 N. Liv ingston street. Mrs. D. F. Whitman and son, John ny, of Waynesville, N. C.. visited her father, John D. Dominick, and Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Suber during the week. Mrs: A. A. Ramage, Sr., spent sev eral days this week with her daugh ter, Mrs. J. A. Mahon, and Mr. Ma hon in Greenville. Misses Martha Ramage and Mary Templeton were visitors there yesterday and accom panied her home. Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Loftis, Mrs. Frank Loftis. Nannette Loftis and Joyce Bailey spent the week-end in Alto, Ga., with Mr. and Mrs. Victor Bowman and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Blackburn. Friends of Eugene Hitt will be glad to know he is improving at his home after a several days stay at Hays hospital. Miss Frances Sh£ely, who teaches in Whitmire, spent the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. H. Sheely. Friends of Mrs. J. R. .Cox will re gret to know she is ill at the home of her parents in Greenwood. Friends of Mrs. P. B. Adair will be glad to know she is able to be out again after being ill at her home the past week. Miss Frances Smith, of Pell City, Ala., was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. P. B. Adair during the week. Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Singley and children, and Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Shealy spent Sunday in Saluda visit ing relatives. Mrs. E. L. Holland. Mrs. Eula Quinton and children, Mrs. W. W. Prather and children, with Mrs. Tom Flow’ and daughter of Joanna, at tended the funeral of their aunt, Mrs. W. M. Prysor, in Princeton Fri day. Mr. and Mrs. John L. Sloan have reutrned from their wedding trip and spent several days here with the former's mother, Mrs. E. B. Sloan before going to Chapel Hill, N. C., where they will make their home. Little Joyce Bailey, of Greenwood, is making her home with Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Loftis, and is attending school here. Dr. and Mrs. L. H. Oden and two children, of Blackshear, Ga., spent several days last week with Mrs. Oden’s parents, Dr. and Mrs. F. K. Shealy. Mrs. Joe Clements and chil dren have joined Capt. Clements at Maxwell Field, Ala., after a stay with her parents here. Friends of Mrs. Clements will be glad to know she has recovered from a recent op eration at Hays hospital.. Mr. and Mrs. James Henry Lea- man and daughter. Sandra, of Tam pa, Fla., were guests during the week of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Sowers. Friends of Mrs. Julia Griffin will regret to know she is a patient at Appalachian hall in Asheville, N. C. Roy Workman, Jr., of Union, spent the week-end with his parents, Mr. ind Mrs. Roy Workman. Mrs. Eugene Sheorn and small daughter, Linda, of Camden, are vis iting her mother, Mrs. Clyde Mc Crary, and other relatives. Mrs. W. C. Baldwin and Mrs. J. V. Edwards are visiting the latter’s daughter, Mrs. A. E. Anderson, and Mr. Anderson in Chicago. They were accompanied on the trip by C. E. King, who is attending the Tommy Bright’s School of Floral Designing tor several weeks.
