Woman's Club Meets
On last Thursday evening, the Jo
anna Woman’s club held the month
ly meeting with about 100 members
present.
The teachers in the Joanna schools
were welcomed and G. N. Foy, super
intendent, introduced them to the
club.

A delightful program had been ar
ranged. Bud Carr gave a comical
leading followed by a mock school
room play enacted with club mem
bers taking roles of the pupils. Dur
ing the recess hour, four club mem
bers. dressed as girls with short
frilly dresses, skipped out to the tune
of "School Days" and served the
guests packaged lunches from denim
shoulder book satchels. Members of
Mrs. L. H. Poag’s group followed
with iced drinks, and a social hour
