Twenty-seven members of the Jo
anna Woman's club left Joanna club
house Saturday morning at 6:30 for
a one-day trip to the gardens. They
visited Swan Lake gardens and
Dunndell gardens in and near Sum
ter, coming back by way of Fort
Jackson. All reported a lovely time.
Birthday Party
Little Jerold Bledsoe celebrated
his fifth birthday with a party at
his home near Bonds Crossroads on
Saturday. About 60 little guests en
joyed this occasion. The guests
gathered around the gaily decorated
birthday cake and sang songs to i
jerold. i
Mrs. Clyde Bledsoe served drinks
and cake, and presented each guest
with a little candy-filled basket as
a favor. ,
