Motorcade Introduces
New Cigarette
Clinton last Thursday became one
of the “test localities” where the R.
J. Reynolds Tobacco company, of
Winston-Salem, N. C., is introducing
its. new cigarette, the “extremely
mild” king size “Cavalier.”
Highlight of the promotion pro
gram here was a “Cavaliercade” of
a dozen automobiles, bearing stream
ers advertising the cigarettes.
This cigarette is the first new one
introduced in 36 years by the Rey
nolds firm, which has been making
“Camels” for that period of time.
