Basketball Tournament
Here Tuesday-Friday
The District 2 “C” class champi
onship basketball tournament will
be held here in the Clinton armory.
The tournament will last four days,
[starting Tuesday and winding up
''wtth the finals Friday night.
There will be afternoon games
and night games on Tuesday and
Wednesday. The Tuesday afternoon
games-will start at 2:30 p. m. and
the night games will begin at 7:00
p. m. The Wednesday afternoon
games will begin at 3:30 p. m. with
the night games starting at 7:30 p.
m. Thursday’s games will start at:
7:300 p. m. and the finals to be held
Friday night will start at the same
time.
Admission to the games Tuesday,
Wednesday, and Thursday vfrill be,
25 and 50 cents. The admission to
the finals Friday night will be 50
and 75 cents.
Teams meeting the first day are
as follows: Bush River girls will i
meet Little Mountain at 2:30 p. m.
The Kelly Pickney boys will vie
with the boys from Pomaria at 3:30
p. m. Xtye Pomaria girls will do bat
tle with the Thornwell girls at 4:30
p. m. At 7:00 p. m. the Hickory Tav
ern girls will meet the Kelly-Pick-
ney sextet and the Silverstxeet boys
clash with Little Mountain. At 9:00
p. m. the first day’s affairs will be
rolled up with the meeting of the
Silverstreet girls with the girls from
Gray Court-Owings.
Sandwiches and drinks will be
available at the armory.
