In pursuance of our policy to extend every available
banking service to the public in this area, we have just
installed a . . .
Night Depository
for the convenience of our customers who desire
such facilities.
The “night depository” is a device for depositing
money or securities or ojher valuables in a shute which
opens from East Pitts street, and is available for use
twenty-four hours a day.
For merchants as well as others who have substan
tial amounts of funds on hand after banking hours, this
is a safe way to protect the money over night. It’s cheap
er than insurance.
All funds deposited in the night depository are at
the risk of the bank, and are insured to the same extent
as deposits regularly made at the tellers’ windows.
