In marketing work, the report shows farmers 'were aided in market ing surplus farm products to the value of $3,135.45, which included seeds, livestock, and poultry. These figures do not include the work co-jl operating in marketing the 1947 com mercial peach crop valued at ap proximately $530,141.45. Assistance! given farmers in purchasing such i items as seeds, trees, plants, liye- I stock, peach parasites, and miScel-;! laneous articles to the amount of U $5,380.19. Although a meat shortage'! existed,'a total of 10,858 pounds‘ofi;4 surplus poultry was sold to trucks! ft valued at $2,383.75. v 15 Hold Tractor School Friday A tractor school to be held Friday, January 30, at 2 o’clock at—the W.
