On last Thursday Dan J. Johnson, 1

acres during the month of July, were
reported by the state commission of
forestry for the county of Laurens.
The county is a part of* the New
berry district, totaling 1,823,306 acres
of timber, which reported 17 forest
fires for the month of July.
