For fighting, 8 persons were ar
rested; carrying concealed weapons,
1; drunkenness, 55; disorderly con
duct 8; vagrancy, 1; driving under
the influence of liquor, 9; speeding
and reckless driving, 8; violating
parking laws, 3; operating cars with
out driver’s license, 4; petty larceny,
6; investigation or suspicion, 2. In
the recorder’s court 329 days were
given law violators.
The report of the police depart
ment for the month of April showed
105 arrests against 122 for March.;
Fines collected for the month
amounted to $1,616.90.
As is reported each month, the
greatest number of arrests, 55, was
for drunkenness, for which fines of
