IS THIS A “SCRAP OF PAPER”? The CIO—United Steel Workers Union said that it’s strike does not violate its contracts with steel companies. Here is the “no strike” clause taken from a typical contract. Let the words speak for themselves! “During the term of this Agreement, neither the Union nor any Em ployee, individually or collectively, shall cause or take part in any strike, or other interruption or any impeding of production at any plant of the Company covered by this Agreement.
