Makes 12 rolls
Tbmpikaturi: 425* F. for 15 minutes then 350* F. for 20 minutes
• 2 cups sifted PoiBbuky’s Best • V4 cup milk
Enriched Flour* • 6 tablespoons butter or
• 3 teaspoons baking powder* margarine
• h teaspoon salt* • M cup brown sugar
• Vt cup shortening • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
1. Sift flour with baking powuer and salt. 2. Cut in shortening with pastry
blender or two knives until mixture resembles coarse meal. 3. Add milk; mix
only until all flour is dampened. 4. Knead gently on floured board a few sec
onds. Roll dough to rectangle 9x13 inches. S. Spread with two tablespoons
melted butter. Sprinkle with VS cup brown sugar and cinnamon. 6. Roll as for
jelly roll. Cut into 12 slices. 7. Melt 4 tablespoons butter in 8x8x2-inch pan;
add remaining VS cup brown sugar and mix well. Place
rolls in pan, cut side down. 4. Bake in hot oven (425* F.)
for 15 minutes, then reduce to moderate (350* F.) and
continue baking.
