At a meeting of the board of direc
tors of the Chamber of Commerce on
Friday, it was decided to cooperate
with the Laurens Chamber of Com
merce on a proposed cold storage
locker plant for Clinton and Lau
rens.
Presbyterians Raise
Budget For Year
The First Presbyterian church of
this city has raised its recently adopt
ed budget for the year 1043-44
through its annual every-member
canvass.
The total budget was set at $13.1100,
divided for local expenses $8,500, for
benevolent causes $5,000.
