Laurens, Jan. 16.—At a meeting of
the directors of the Palmetto Bank
Tuesday a resolution Was adopted
adding $50,000 to the surplus account
out of undivided profits. This action
will give the bank $100,000 capital
and $10(1,000 surplus.
The directors met following a
meeting of stockholders when all the
officers and directors were reelected,
as follows: L. G. Balle, president; D.
F. Patterson, cashier; Chas. F. Flem
ing, assistant cashier; L. G. Balle,
