The forty-fifth annual session of
the Laurens Baptist association open
ed Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock at
the First Baptist church of thig city,
with all 33 churches represented by
written reports dr letters, and by

After the devotional, reports on the
work of Connie Maxwell orphanage,
and the Baptist hospital were given.
Rev. John Murdock represented the
orphanage and spoke at length of the
work done with and by more than
400 children under the care of Con
