Two new professors have joined
the Presbyterian college faculty for
the coming session, it was announced
yesterday by Dr. Marshall W. Brown,
dean.
John W. Forsythe, B.S., M.S., Ph.D.,
will serve as professor of biology. Dr.
Forsythe comes here from a* position
as instructor in biology at Princeton
university. He received the bachelor
of science degree, magna cum laude,
and master of science degree from
Texas Christian university. He se
cured the doctor of philosophy de
gree from Princeton.’
John W. Frey, A.B., MA., PhD.,
I has been secured as as^tant profes
sor of modem languages. Ihr. l^y
received the bachelor of arts degree
frpm Dickinson college, Carlisle, Pa.,
and followed with a year of graduate
stud^ inlEurope at Giessen univer
sity. He received the master of arts
and doctor of philosophy degree frmn
the University of Illinoie. He served
during the past year as instructor in
German at the University of Illinois.

spent the afternoon swimming.
E. V. Frick Seaboard ticket agent
here, reported that it was a happy,
excited bunch of youngsters when]
they boarded the train. Mr. Frick
had wired 4he conductor to make
room for the children. He oblig-
iingly did so by .asking all of the
passengers to move into one coach,
thus providing a private coach for
the children from here to Greenwood.
They got off the train with many
enthusiastic things to tell about the
day!a experiences.
