they visited Pensacola beach. The
Jeumey carried them through Mobile,
Ala., across the Biloxi Bay and down
the coast of the Gulf of Mexico,
reaching New Orleans Tuesday.
On a sightseeing trip of New Or
leans Wednesday they visited the
Huey Long Bridge, Sugar Bowl sta
dium, the Jewish school, Newman
college, 'Audubon park, Louisiana
state museum, St. Louis cathedral,
the army quarters and navy base.
The group enjoyed dinner in the
FYench quarter. The aftejnoon was
spent at Pontchartrain Beach and
amusement center. One day was
spent leisurely shopping and souvenir
hunting. ^
Eariy Friday the first lap of the
return journey was made via Me
ridian, Miss., Tuscaloosa and Bir
mingham, Ala., where accommoda
tions had been made at the Bank-
head hotel. From Atlanta the group
proceeded through Athens and Elber-
ton, arriving home at 11:30.
