The following teachers held class es in four departments for thirty young people who attended: Mrs. Sidney Rumph, Mrs. P. M. Pitts, Misses Pearl Hitt, Elizabeth Nelson, and Fran^ Speakc. Derrick, local representative of foe industrial division of the Pilot Life Insurance company, Greensboro, N. C., has been awarded a trip to the company convention to be held at Virginia Beach, Virginia, June 18, 17, and 18. Mr. Derrick will leave this week-end, arriving at' Virginia Beach in time for foe first session on the morning of the 16fo and re turning foe middle of the week. During the fifty-two week period ending May 28, Mr. Derrick made an excellent record with the company, producing a volume of quality bmi- ness which ranked him among foe leaders of foe industrial division’s field representatives.
