Forty-six high schools of the state were repre sented in the group. Mrs. W. A. Moorhead accomanied the following girls to Columbia: MISSES JULIA TAYLOR, MARCIA GALLOWAY, ANNETTE MOORHEAD and BOB BY JEAN CARR. The boys quartet, composed of EDMUNDS YOUNG, MILTON MILAM, BOBBY SAN DERS, and SAM CAUBLE, was ac companied by Mrs. John B. Gentry. Lonnie Hiers, brother Of the bride groom, was best man. Miss Charley Ackerman Walker, soprano, sang “Because” and “The Lord’s Prayer” during the ceremony. The traditional wedding marches, Lohengrin and Mendelssohn, were chosen for pro cessional and recessional, with Mrs. Ferdinand Jacobs at the organ. The bridal party presented a pic turesque scene against huge floor vases filled with white gladioli and aqMuragus fern. After the ceremony the bride’s mother entertained at a beautifully appointed tea.
