One of the latest rules in our bat
tery, and one that will please the
folks back home, is the saying of
grace at each meal. All the men file
into the dining hall, a whistle is
blown, and the top-kick.says: “Sgt.
Doe” (then the noncom whose name
is called says a few words of grace.
The noncoms take time about). Many
of them are very short, but aU seem
to have the deep meaning that they
should. That proves we got the right
start back there at home, thanks to
our eldlers.
I say to you all: Good night
