to Horace M. Geer took place on

were prettily used in the home on
this occasion*'which assembled a
number of the bride-elect’s friends.

married Satiurday.

Memorial church.

riage Saturday afternoon. The cere
mony, was performed* at the l^rst
Baptist church parsonage in Laurens
by Rev. J. H. Kyzar, pastor of the
church.
The bride was becomingly attired
in a navy ensemble and a blending
shade of lighter blue with navy acces
sories. She wore a corsage of pink
rosebuds. Mrs. Geer, the younger
daui^ter of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, is
a graduate of Clinton high school
and at the time of her marriage held
a position with Royal Cleaners.
Mr. Geer, a native of Clinton, is
connected with the Buzzard Roost
power project, Greenwood, as elec
trician.

bride’s parents in Greenwood Satur

daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Louis Beaudrot, and granddaughter
of Mrs. Mary Prather of this city,
became the bride of John Christoi^-
er Young of Greenwood and Green
ville.
Mrs. Young is*a popular young
woman of Greenwood where she has
always made her home. A graduate
of Greqpwod high school, she attend
ed Lander college. Since completing
a coLurse in commercial science .she
has been'employed in Greenwood.
Mr. Young, the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Ben Maxwell Young of near
Greenwood, attended Ninety Six high
school and later the Industrial Insti
tute at Spartanburg. He holds a po
sition in Greenville.

chapter of Kappa Delta sorority. The

entertained at a banquet in the Col
onial room of the Jefferson hotel.
