Miss Emily Watson, of O’Fallon, Mo., died at her home on January 17 after being a shut-in for several years. She was about 80 years of age. February 25 is the birthday of Miss Hazel Sherard, Bobby Dean Dailey, and Scott Dawkins, Jr: Long Branch school has completed a dental clinic sponsored by the lo cal organization affiliated with the county health department, with Dr. H. R. Perkins as director. The clinic has been the means of helping several children who needed dental attention. Many were found to have badly diseased and abscessed teeth, thus proving a great hindrance in the development of the children. Correction will prove to benefit the health of the children, enabling them to do better school work.
