39 boys. It is unusual that there are
more boys than girls. This has oc

there being 18 girls and 19 in
the class of *22, and 23 ghrls and 24
boys hi *38. In .>1937, the graduates
were equally divided, 25 girls and 2$
boys.

STUDY CLUB HOLDS
FINAL MEETINO
The Wednesday Study club held-
its final meeting of the spring, be
fore disbanding till fall, at toe home
of Mrs. R. C. Adair on Wednesday
afternoon. May 8.
Prof. B. H. Boyd, of Presbyterian
college was the speaker for toe af
ternoon. His subject was “Material
ism versus Theism.” Prof. Boyd was
introduced by Mrs. M. W. Brown,
presidtot of toe club.
Punch, ke cream and cake were
served by the hostesses, Mrs. G. W.
Taylor, Mrs. R.’ S. Owens, Mrs. J
B. Hart, and Mrs. Adair. As is the
custom, each member'had invited a
guest to enjoy the special program.
