teams are succeeding fairly well. This game will be a sort of turning pointy
for both teams. P; C. and Newberry, only 22 miles apart, have always been'
keen rivals in football. The Blue Hose and the Indians appear to be veryj
evenly matched this year. P. €., with two new men on its coaching staff

tempt to make a mere rii>{)le out of Coach Jim Brice’s Green Wave eleven,
it’s going to be the old story of an^ irresistable force meeting an immovable
c-bject. One team is bound to give in (unless they tie). Ciintoii ami Eas-
k*y are two of the finest high school teams in the state and are coached by"
two of the best coaches in the state. Neither team has been defeated this
season and neither intends to be defeattnl. t
Coach Bob Wilder’s boys will be ready to give their best in what is likely|
to be the RihI Devils’ hardest glime of the season. They are firmly_coiifi-
dent that they can repeat the memorable Clinton victory over Easley of two
years ago, and confidence means a lot in football. Easley will have a slight
advantage in playing on their home field. The two teams will probably be
nearly equal in weight, with Easley having a slight advantage there, also.'
Although some of the C. H. S. players received minor injuries in an auto
mobile wreck after the game last Friday, we are glad to hear that it was
not serious ami that the Red Devils will he out in full strength toniorio\V. ■
