church, performed the double ring
ceremony. "The wedding took place on
the bride’s eighteenth birthday.
"Only the imme<liate families of the
bride and groom witnessed the quiet
home ceremony, which was solemniz
ed at 9 o’clock. Miss Marian Matherly
attended_the bride as maid of honor.
William Ebersbach, brother of the
bride, acted as best man.
“The bride was exquisitely beauti
ful in a closely fitted tailored suit of
white sharkskin. With it she wore a
small white straw hat, tnmmed in
grosgrain ribbon bands, over which
was thrown a sheer nose veil. She
wore a corsage of gardenias and
sweetheart roses, and carried an arm
bouquet of white roses and lilies, tied
with a huge bow of tulle. .
“The maid of honor was charming
ly gowned in powder blue georgette
shirred at the shoulder and sleeve,
and a hat of white silk, with gros-
girain streamers falling from the back.
“The bride entered on the arm of
her father, who gave her away before
an improvised altar banked with
ferns, vases of American Beauty ros
ea, and tall baskets of white gladi-
olas.
“The young couple lerft immediate
ly after the ceremony for an extended
motor trip through the North. They
will first visit Pomeray, Ohio, where
