I am free to confess that I don’t think
this rule is any good, an)rway. If you
make up your mind beforehand that
the teacher is always right and your
child always wrong, how can you ex
pect to obtain or even merit the
youngster’s inspect ? '
I don't mean by this, of course, that
a parent should be constantly listen
ing to a child’s complaint’s, siding
with her against her teacher, and
menting trouble. But I do mean tint
If a child cannot feel that she is go
ing to get an unprejudiced hearing
before an impartial tribunal, when she
goes to her mother with what she con
ceives to be a wrong, she is distinctly
out of luck.
No, if the teacher is wrong, go down
to school and try to straighten out the
situation. Be fair to your child,
