TON ( HKONK'I.E, and plainly marked “FOR SEALED BALLOT
BOX^—NO'r TO BE OPENED.” Particular care should be taken to
post Isuch letters in good time to reach this office before the final
hour and it is advisable that they should be under special deliverj
stamp. Make sure stubs and money check perfectly and observe the
printed elsewhere on this page which says in part : “Personal
checks will positively not be accepted in the ballot l>ox.”
It is calculated that it will require some time, however, to can
vass the findingjti in the box and t^o determine the winners. The
official results will be published next Thursday, although the win
ners will be notified'.Atonday p. m.

('hronicle campaign department from June 20, but instead, candi-

BALLOT.BflX located in the office of The C hronicle. By so dinng,
no one, not even the publishers or campaign management can pos
sibly know the voting strength of the respective"candidates, which
precludes any possibility of favoritism and insures fairness.to the
minutest degree.
The sealed ballot box will be placed in THEThRONIUL
OFFK'E, where it will be available for turn-ins during the regular
working hours. 8 a. m. t4> 6 p. 'm^. daily. It will be available pt the
office where it will remain for candidates to make their report
until (he closing hour of the campaign, 10 p. m., Saturday^ June 23.
Important Notice!
All subscriptions deposited in the sealed box must be accom
panied by cash, money order, baak draft, or cashier’s check. This
rule is made in fairness to all ca^idates and will be strictly
adhered to.
