CITY TAXES
Notice is hereby g;iven that Tow'n Taxes for the Town
of Clinton will be due and collectible between September
15th and November 15th, for the year 1933. The Tax
Books w'ill be opened for the collection of taxes at the
Office of the Town Clerl^n September 15th, and will re
main open each day thereafter, Sunday excepted, up to
and through Novmber 15th.
A1 taxes paid betw'een September 15th and October
1st will carry a two (2'f ) discount; between October hst
and October 15th, a one (IS) per cent discount.
A penalty-^pf fifteen (15'-^^ 1 per cent, wdll accrue on
all taxes not paid on or before Wednesday, November 15.
Tlfe levy for current fiscal year is thirty-seven (37)
mills; twelve (12) mills for current operating expenses
and twenty-five (25) mills for interest and sinking fund
on various bond issu^«-^)utstanding.
The foregoing notice is given pursuant to Ordinance
passed by the Towm Council August 29th, 1933.
