DELEGATION MAKES HEAVY
SLASH IN COUNTY SUPPLY BILL
Measure Introduced By Deleifation Carries Reduction In Salaries
and Various Departments and Strikes Out Several

Laurens, Feb. 18. —The Laurens
county supply bill for this year, as
prepared by the leirislative delefration
for introduction last week, has the
earmarks of a drastic slashing in pro-
po.««ed^ expenditures in all departments
of the county governmissnt. Total ap
propriations are reduced from about
$126,000 to approximately $70,000 or j ITEM
more than 40 per cent. It is estimated, Board of Lquali/.ation
