Mr. Hathcock said, and it will be the
policy-of the cooperative to hold the
cotton at these points until it is sold;
and then ship it direct to the buying,
mills.
“Last year,” he explained, “Green
ville and Columbia served the state
as the cotton shipping warehouse cen
ter. That is not the case this year. It
will be sent on to the buver direct
from the warehouse where il is re
ceived, w’ithout going through or stop
ping in a main concentration point.
