‘ Boys* 4-H dub Encampment
The annual 4-H club encampment
will be held Augru^t ^4, 25 and 2fi, at
Clemsoii^^>Hejre. These boys will be
encamped with boys from Anderson,
Oconee, and Union counties. A circu-'
lar letter was sent to the club mem
ber- a few days ajro in order to find
out the nunil'er wishinjf to attend the
summer encampment. h'orty-three
have replied to th.s letter. Thi.s indi
cates that a large numlnn of club
hoys from thi.s county will attend the
camp. These boys will he tran-ported |
on school bu.ses a.s herctufore. Dur'ng
the Camp the hoys will be iriven in-

leader's training course at Clemson!
for the purpose of training local b-ad-,
ers in <*lub work for the futurt*. l)«\h‘-

ed this course. The delegates from
Ijiurens county were: W. .M. Aber
crombie, Hickory Tavern section;
Howard Coop<*r, 4-H club president.

course held.
There will be held at Clemson col
lege, ,Fuly 2!t-.‘n, a poultry short
course. Thi.s short course is Ix'ing held
under the supervision of P. H. Good
ing, extension poultryman. K. K,
Mitchell, hcu<i of the jxniltry work at
the Georgia College of Agriculture,
will talk on the subject of high egg
production for profit, and breeding for
high egg prodiK'tion. A. F. Krm'st of
Walhalla, will <liscuss local marketing
of poultry production.

attend this course. There will he a fe<*
