Wilson Leads Way To Victory When
He Intercepts Pass and Runs
for Touchdown.
Rock Hill, Oct. 29.—Charlie Wilson,
tearing, dodging, twisting, plunging,
ran 45 yards through the entire Er-
skine team, with an intercepted pass
and a blocked punt recovered behind
the Erskine end line & few minutes
later, spelled defeat forTK^^Keceders
from Due West here today after thej^
had waged a game but losing battle
from the first kickoff.
The scoring came in the third quar
ter. The first half ended with P. C. ift
possession of the ball one yard from
the.last white marker. The Seceders
came back with a whirlwind attack
as the third quarter opened, advancing
the ball to midfield. Wilson snatche 1 f
a pass on Erskine’s 45-^Srd line and '
dodged through the team for a touch- |
down. Stamps missed the drop kick
for extra point. The safety followed
shortly after the next kickoff. Tim
mons broke through and blocked
Reid’s punt and recovered the ball be
yond the Erskine end line for a safety.'
The backfield combination of Reid
and Parkinson chalked up repeated
gains for the Seceders but not enough
to ovreshadow the line plunging of
Wilson, Presbyterian back. Erskine’s
Garnet and Gold was outclassed but
was game until the last play. They
appeared to gain strength in the clos
ing minutes in stopping the fierce |
plunging of the Presbyterian backs. —

Qiankad me for what I told them,
so I am willing that other women
should know about it, too.
”1 first took Cardui because I waa

thing which would help me.
