If you have not received application blank write this department at once for ap plication. Give motor number, make of automobile and 1926 license num ber. If certificate of title has been lost file with this department affidavit signed before notary public setting forth that original has been lost. Du plicate will be issued. Personal checks for 1927 license plates will not be accepted, but will be returned to the makers. There will be no exception to this rule made by the Highway Commission. A law enacted by the 1926 General Assembly of i^outh Carolina requires that application for 1927 license plate must be made on or before November 30th, 1926. Should application be made after November 30th a penalty of 50c will be charged for each delin quent application. Prosecution Will Follow Too Early or Too Late Dis play of Plates d An act of the 1926 General Assem bly requires further that license plate must not be displayed prior to De cember 31, but must be displayed on January 1st aad thereafter.
