ENJOYS MEETING
On Friday afternoon Mrs. Robert
Dillard was a gracious hostess to. the
Social Circle club. The main features

PAN-HELLENIC BANQUET
A BRILLIANT EVENT
Never in the forty-six years of its
existence has the Presbyterian College
had such a flower garden of girls
assembled around the banquet table,
as. it did last Friday night in Judd
Kate Robinson; J. E. Brock and Miss
Kathleen Wakefield; J. F. McKenzie
and Miss M. Monroe; J. A. Stamps
and Miss Marion Norris; T. Bailey

all the joy of a sumptuous repast com
plete.
After a reception in the chapeH
some ninety-odd couples Hied into the
elaborately decorated hall in purple
and gold, the Pan-Hellenic colors.
Place cards were found amid the gen
eral uproar of splendid music by
Bishop’s Entertainers, and the talking,
and all were seated to partake of
a delightful menu.
At each lady’s plate was found an
■ attractive favor, a small sterling sil
ver fountain pen with the sautoir and
a slide with Pan-Hellenic written ver
tical with P. C.-S. C. at the top and
1925 at the bottom. At every place
there was a leather-bound program,
giving the usual space to auto
graphs, chapter calls, guest, etc.
The last^ but certainly not the
least, were the toasts. Mr. J. J. Corn
wall, president of Pah-Hellenic Coun-,
cil, acted admirably as toastmaster,, and Miss Margaret Copeland; T. F.
and with his usual wit and humor, in
troduced the following well-delivered
