Miss Mary Bond, of Bishopville, is spending two weeks here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Bond. Miss Roena Bennett and Mr. Ralph Bennett, of Fountain Inn, are the guests of Misses Kathryn and Eliza beth Blakely. Dr. and Mrs. B. 0. Whitten and Misses Mildred and Martha Whitten left Friday for a vacation at High lands, N. C. Mrs. R. D. Lewis and children, of Spartanburg, are the guests of her sister, Mrs. E. B. Sloan. Mr. and Mrs. Fair Buford and chil dren are spending this week with rela tives in Waynesville, Ga. Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Adair are spend ing this week .at Glenn Springs. Mr. Frank Chappells, of Chester, is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Mart Young. Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Stanton are in Tennessee where they were called on account of the death of Mr. Stanton's father. Mrs. W. R. Templeton left Friday for Greenwood for f few days stay, after which she goes to Augusta, Ga., where she will make her home with her son. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Duncan, of Co lumbia, are the guests of their par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Will Duncan. Mr. and Mrs. W^ C. Oxley and lit tle sons spent the past week-end in Augusta, Ga. Mrs. H. L. Baggott, of Cheraw, is the guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Bond. Mr. and'Mrs. W. P. Montjoy and family attended a family reunion in Enoree on Monday. Mrs. Dan Davis, of Chester, spent several days here this week as the guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Copeland. Miss Fannie Dominick, of Spartan burg, is spending a while here with her parents. Messrs. Claude and Ryan Lawson have returned from a visit to rela tives in Whitmire. r Jdiss Sara Williams is visiting rela tives in Spartanburg. Mrs. James Lea and children, of Charleston, are spending some time with Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Stutts. Mrs. Will Duncan has returned from several days' visit with Mr. and Mrs. William Scott in Whitmire. Mr. R. Lee Hunter, of Greenville, was the guest this week of his broth er, Mr. G. Wash Hunter. Miss Lois Blakely has returned from a visit to relatives in Fountain Inn. Mr. W. C. Shealy spent a few days this week with his parents in Little Mountain. Messrs. B. H. Boyd, Hubert and Hansel Boyd and Matthew Lynn spent the past week-end in Saluda, N. C. Mrs. W. A. Moorhead and Mrs. G. C. Hopkins have returned from the mountains where they spent a week. Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Workman and family spent Wednesday with rela tives in Newberry. Mrs. Earl Workman has as her guests Misses Margaret Scurry and Margaret Watkins. Mr. and Mrs. Luther Young and children and Miss Agnes Young spent Sunday with Mrs. Young’s parents in Greer. Miss Frances Williams returned Saturday after a few weeks’ stay with her sister, Mrs. H. B. Collins, in Monroe, N. C. Mrs. Hugh Workman spent the oast week-end here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Duncan. Mr. and Mrs. Pet Moore, Miss Vir ginia Moore and Messrs. George Moore and Earl Owens spent the past week-end in the mountains. Miss Emma Hipp returned yester day from Glenn Springs where she spent several days. Mr. and Mrs.* Ellisor Adams, of Newberry, spent several days the past week with Mr. and Mrs. Will Duncan. Messrs. L. L. Woodcock, of Frank- ville, and Mack Blakely, of Pelzer, spent Sunday here with Mr. and Mrs. John T. Blakely. ' Miss Hattie Finney, of Charlotte, is the guest of her mother, Mrs. Nan nie Finney. Mrs. T. C. Johnson and children are visiting relatives in Greenwood. Mrs. Mary Prather has returned from a visit to relatives in Cross An chor. The many friends of Mrs. O. T.
