On November 29. 1869, he was married
to Miss Elizabeth Basklns, moving
shortly ufterward to Fort Mill,
lie was one of the founders of the
Baptist church here and was a member
and deacon for 40 years. In addition
to being a faithful and enerK?
tic member of the Masonic order,
be was attiliated with the Woodmen i

In addition to his widow he is
survived by one sister, Mrs. James '
