At a meeting held in the Baptist
church Monday night a
Church Officer's society wus
formed composed of the pastors
and officers only of the three
evangelical churches of' Fort
Mill. The meeting was called
at the instance of the members
of the men's prayer service
which for a long time past has
been held in the Baptist church
each Sunday afternoon. Tne
object of the society is to promote
the welfare of the town
and community along lines of '
spiritual uplift and moral ad- '
vancement in material matters, <
and to interest the people in all ?
matters which win promote tne 4
real-interests of the community. .1
