Among the state-wide laws of far reaching consequences passed at the recent session of the general assembly is that for the protection of game and fish and to ft* hunters' l'eenso fee. A county resident's license fee is *1.10. which allows residents of the state to hunt in any cOunty on his own land. Non-residents psv a county fee of $3.10. A non-res'dent's state hunting license is $15 25. Non-residents must pay a fee of 13.23 to fish in the state. The law fixes the oncn season for partridge hunting from November 13 tT February 13, and the bag limit to 15 a day. The open season for turkeys is from November 15 to Apr l 1. The bng limit a dnv ir two. and for the season 2^ The open season for i? from August 15 to December 81. A five year closed season for pheasants is prescribed hv the law. .
